- 118.29 ml butter, softened
- 236.59 ml packed brown sugar
- 236.59 ml granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 4.92 ml vanilla extract
- 709.77 ml all-purpose flour
- 4.92 ml baking soda
- 2.46 ml salt
- 29.58 ml milk
- 236.59 ml chopped macadamia nuts
- 118.29 ml dried sweetened cranberries
- 354.88 ml white chocolate chunks
directions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- In a medium bowl, with electric mixer, cream butter and sugars together until light and fluffy. Add.
- eggs and vanilla and beat until just combined. Set aside.
- Sift together flour, soda, and salt. Add milk to the butter mixture and then add the flour mixture a little bit at a time until combined.
- Batter should be stiff.
- In another bowl, combine nuts, cranberries, and white chocolate. Then add to batter, stirring only to.
- blend. Drop by heaping tablespoons onto a greased cookie sheet, 2 inches apart. Bake for approximately 11 to 13 minutes. Cool on wire rack immediately as they tend to stick to the pan if they sit there too long.

Although I have a definite sweet tooth, I took the previous reviewer's tip & cut back a bit especially on the granulated sugar! Other than that, though, I followed the recipe right on down & they made a great addition to the cookie buffet we had for tenants in our mobile home park! [Made & reviewed for one of my adopted chefs in the current Pick A Chef event]

Made for PAC spring 2008. This is a nice recipe that is a little bit different. I made the recipe as posted, and found it much too sweet for my taste. Next time I would cut the sugars in half. With that said, my kids loved them!! The first batch didn't spread out all that much so I flattened the 2nd batch before cooking. They turned out just as described chewy and crunchy :) Thanks for posting.
