  • Brown and break up the beef in a large skillet. Add sauce to taste. Continue cooking until meat has no pink color.
  • Drain grease, return meat to skillet, and then add the ketchup. Simmer for 15 minutes. Add a little water, if needed, till the mixture is moist but, not soupy.
  • Serve on hamburger buns (or on bread as a sandwich). You can also sprinkle a little chopped raw onion over the top, if desired.

  1. This was all right - nothing special. It's certainly easy to make, and quick, and the Worcestershire sauce gives it a different flavor, but it didn't particularly grab me compared to other sloppy joes I've had before. I would've liked it a bit wetter and with a lot more tomato flavor; and ingredients 4 and 5 would be some diced onions and bell peppers. This is decent, but not what I was looking for.
     
  2. We tried this last night and loved it! It was so easy to throw together and yet everyone raved about it. I'm doubling it next time, just so we have some leftovers for lunch. Yummm!
