    This is a wonderful version of coleslaw that packs a little heat. It's perfect with any summer BBQ. Adjust the heat by adding to or removing the jalapeños! From Chef Dean Fearing, The Mansion on Turtle Creek, in Dallas Texas.

      In a large bowl, combine cabbages, red and yellow peppers and carrot until well blended.

      Process remaining ingredients in a blender until smooth and adjust seasoning.

      Pour dressing over vegetables and toss to combine.

      Recheck seasoning and serve.

      This really hit the spot with my family. They like it hot! It just gets better the next day. Will add this to my "make frequently" file.

      Man-oh-man! This cole slaw will be on my list of summer regulars! It's got just enough heat and lots of great blended flavors. Based on my own likes and what I had in the cupboard, I used about 1/4 C cilantro, low-fat mayo, one 3" jalapeno, about 1/4 C red wine vinegar, 2-3 T Worcestershire, and about 1/4 C bottled fresh lime juice. Didn't have any cumin seeds. My DH insisted on having "just a taste" (which turned into about 2cups!) before dinner. I served it with my own version of tandoori chicken (BBQ'd) and a salad similar to the Mango Cucumber Salsa (Mango Cucumber Salsa). What a meal!! And it even fits into our WeightWatchers lifestyle.       Great slaw! I took the easy way out and used a 16-ounce package of slaw mix that included green cabbage, red cabbage, and carrots. I subbed a serrano for the jalapeno and used the food processor, rather than the blender, to prepare the dressing. I didn't worry too much with mincing or dicing the dressing ingredients very finely (just coarsely chopped), since I knew the processor would finish the job. We really enjoyed this flavorful slaw--thanks for sharing the recipe!
