  1. Thanks for posting- this will save me from buying so many boxes of Shake N Bake at the store! :)

  2. I have never bought the real thing, but we love it. I used it in a casserole that called for coating chicken in Shake n Bake. Loved the flavor. Thanks for the good Idea!

  3. 5 Star for a doityourself shake n bake. I have to admit that I kind of throw the stuff into the bag and I may not have had every ingredient - but boy, did it come out tasty!!! The whole family LOVED it! I am keeping this one for sure and will try it on some other meats besides chicken at some point. I did, however, add more paprika though. I had celery salt and added that. Great texture.

  4. My family loved this recipe, and they are normally picky about chicken. Thank you!

Hmm... let's see.. Cooking is my passion... I'm retired now and able to cook and bake every day. I think the most helpful cookbook that I own would have to be The New Doubleday Cookbook. I just love kitchen gadgets and have many of them. Besides cooking I love to sing and belong to the Sweet Adeline's International. I get very annoyed at people who are LATE! I think it's just as easy to be late as it is to be on time. Well.. thanks to all of you at Zaar for all of your terrific recipes and ideas that bring my friends and family much joy and happiness. They get to try all of my new recipes.
