ingredients
- 1 cup light mayonnaise
- 1⁄2 cup low-fat buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1⁄2 teaspoon cumin
- 1⁄2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1⁄4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1⁄4 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 tablespoon chopped cilantro, to taste
directions
- Blend all ingredients together and chill for an hour to marry flavors.

Made this as part of my contribution when we had a steak-grilling with a neighbor! I did, however, change some of the amounts a bit, like using just 3/4 teaspoon of the chili powder & the same abount for the smpked paprika! I also reduced the cumin to slightly less than 1/2 teaspoon! Worked for me, & from the kind words about the dressing from the others, I guess it worked for them, too! [Made & reviewed for one of my adoptees in this fall's round of Pick A Chef]

Very nice! I had never had smoked paprika before but sweet paprika is one of my favorite spices so I had to try this. I cut the recipe by 1/8 and even though there was therefore only 1/8 tsp paprika, it really added a lot of smokiness. This was easy and quick to throw together so I'm sure I'll make it again when I have buttermilk to use up, as I did today. Thanks for sharing!
