- 236.59 ml apple butter
- 236.59 ml canned pumpkin
- 118.29 ml brown sugar, packed
- 2.46 ml salt
- 3.69 ml ground cinnamon
- 3.69 ml ground nutmeg
- 0.61 ml ground ginger
- 3 eggs, slightly beaten
- 177.44 ml evaporated milk
- 1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
- sweetened whipped cream, for garnish
directions
- Preheat oven to 425°F
- Combine apple butter, pumpkin, sugar, salt and spices in a bowl.
- Stir in eggs.
- Gradually add milk and mix well.
- Pour into pie shell.
- Bake for about 40 minutes or until set.
- Garnish with whipped cream and maybe some pecans.

Great recipe - very simple and easy. My daughter loves pumpkin pie, I told her we were mixing it up a bit and adding apple butter - she loved it. I used a pre-made graham cracker crust. I had a little extra filling that did not fit in the pie shell so I cooked it in a separate small baking dish. This recipe is a keeper!

Super good! I made this for a church supper and everyone loved it! The recipe caught me eye because it contained apple butter and I love apple butter! I baked it exactly 40 minutes and it came out perfect! I covered the crust about 15 minutes into the baking time and it was a perfect golden brown. I will definitely be making this on Thanksgiving! Thanks for posting such a wonderful recipe!
