Simple is as simple does. Forrest Gump's mother could have said that! Here's one more from the back of the Hidden Valley Original Ranch Dressing bottle.
- 1⁄2 cup hidden valley original ranch dressing
- 6 hard-cooked eggs, coarsely chopped
- 1⁄2 cup diced celery
- 1⁄4 cup diced green onion
- 3 tablespoons bacon bits
- Mix all ingredients together. Chill.
- Spread on favorite sandwich bread or rolls.
Tagged in New Kids on the Block! Very simple, but delicious egg salad.....loved the addition of bacon! Almost like breakfast! In fact, I think it might be great spread on an english muffin in the morning as a "to go" breakfast. Thanks for sharing your recipe!
The Hidden Valley original ranch dressing originally started as the dry mix you can still find today in stores. I love Ranch Dressing, but not the bottled. Just milk (or buttermilk) and Best Foods....I think Ranch used conservatively would be great with the eggs.
I have to be honest and say I am not a big fan of ranch dressing but the DM loves it and she loved it in egg salad sandwich and I really enjoyed the flavour too with the eggs, celery and spring onion and I used ham in place of the bacon. I used Paul Newmans Ranch Dressing. Thank you Susanna Marie, made for PARTY gam.
