  • boil parsnips in water 8 minutes.
  • drain.
  • in skillet add oil onions.
  • add garlic.
  • add spices dont burn add stock.
  • add honey.
  • add parsnips.
  • cook for 10 minutes more until glazed.

  1. Delicious but they didn't hold their shape. Next time I would cut into 'coins' for better control over cooking. They looked more mushy than glazed but were delicious! Made for Traveling through Tunisia in the NA/ME Forum 10/2013.
     
  2. This was a simple and quick recipe way to prepare parsnips. Onions were mentioned in the directions but not in the ingredients list. I chopped one small onion and cooked it until translucent. This was a very tasty side dish.
