"From Sunset 12/12 issue. I have not tried this yet but it sounds very appealing. It is described as tangy and aromatic."

  1. Love how festive this drink is. Is it tasty? Oh, it sure is! I had an almost full bottle of merlot wine in the fridge that has been hanging out for quite some time, so when I saw this recipe, figured it was the perfect opportunity to use up the wine. The flavors are memorable and love the cardamom and cinnamon. Provides coziness and contentment to an otherwise boring day. Thank you, duonyte, for sharing. Made it for FYC.

  2. How easy and festive is this? I love the fact that it could bubble away all day in my slow cooker and not take up room on the stove while I cooked and prepped for the big meal. Thanks for posting this keeper!

My screen name is a diminutive in Lithuanian for bread, so you won't be suprised to learn that I love to bake bread. In recent years I have been baking a lot of sourdough breads and have several starters sitting in my refrigerator. But I like to cook a lot of other things, as well, especially from various cultures.
