I got this recipe from a Jack Daniels promotion in the duty free at Heathrow airport. I just love Jack Daniel's, and this is simply delicious!
- 25 ml Jack Daniels Whiskey
- 20 ml Cointreau liqueur
- 15 ml sugar syrup (Gomme)
- 15 ml fresh lemon juice
- soda water
- lemon (to garnish)
- Simply build over a glass with cubed iceand top up with soda water.
- Garnish with lemon.
Gosh, this hit the spot. I had some lime seltzer which worked well with everything else. Just the thing I needed after beating down the lawn (knee high in spots - yikes!). In fact, it was so good, I think I need to go make another one!
Great refreshing drink! Like another reviewer I used curacao instead of the cointreau. This will be great to enjoy on those hot summer BBQ days - thanks for sharing the recipe!
Yum! One of my favorite mixed drinks. Much fresher tasting than the one I've had before with sweet & sour mix. Went great with our outdoor gathering! Thanks for sharing.
