Egyptian Spiced Prawns

"A delicious blend of flavors, these prawns are not spicy hot, as my toddler was able to eat them just fine. The cumin really stands out in this dish but not overpoweringly. I found the original version of this recipe on Recipes4us.co.uk & made alterations in ingredients to suit our tastes. :)"

  2. You know it's good when your kids ask you to make it again. I used more oil and doubled the seasonings so it was a bit more saucey.

  4. Yum! Had everything for this in the freezer and it was super easy and lots of flavor. Hubby loved it too! Served over brown rice for a quick and easy week night dinner. Will make again.

  5. It is really awesome and I use it for chicken as well! I have baked this many times using chicken tenders and I chop it up and freeze it then take it for lunch at work on top of a green salad. I do love it on shrimp as well! Very exotic!

Hi! I am happily married with two children, 26 and 12. For nearly 10 years when this site was Recipezaar and then Food.com I hosted several different forums. I enjoyed making, creating, reviewing, and photographing recipes, but what I miss the most are the friendships I made here. I was Food Editor for the Mill Creek View Newspaper in Mill Creek, WA. for about 4 years during that time. Currently I am the office manager at a small mental health clinic. I'm not on this site much anymore, but I do continue to appreciate and respond to all reviews posted to my recipes.
