Cheesy Pretzel Dippers (Lunch Box Surprise)

For our 5 year olds lunch box for either snack time or lunch for his first year at kindergarten that are reasonably healthy but will bring a smile to his face when he finds them. This recipe would also be good for long car trips.

Directions

  1. Cut cheese into 16 cubes. Let stand at room temperature 10 to 15 minute or until cheese is at room temperature.
  2. Insert a thin pretzel stick into each cube.
  3. Serve with Honey Dijon Mustard or your child's favorite dressing.

This is such a great idea. For some reason this week my 6 yr. old son did not want to have lunch at school so I packed all week. He said he was tired of the same 2 lunches I make him. So I got on Zaar and found creative and kid-friendly ideas. This was one of them. Thanks for the new idea!

I love these! I take them to work with me sometimes to have as my mid-morning snack. I haven't dipped them in the honey dijon yet but may try that next time. Thanks for posting!
