  • Mix brown sugar, butter and cinnamon to form a paste.
  • stuff paste into the cored apple, then wrap the apple with the pastry.
  • use remaining pastry to add decorative touches.
  • bake for 20 minutes at 375 degrees.

  1. Delicious! One unbaked pie shell is enough to barely cover three apples. It's enough, though...I don't like too much crust! Baked for 30 minutes and the apples were still a bit firm. I also made some extra sauce with butter, brown sugar and cinnamon and served it over the apples and ice cream. YUM!!!!
     
  2. This was really good! We have never had baked apples before and my kids even scraped the remnants out of the baking pan! We don't like apples in general and have an apple tree so this is really helping me out! Thanks for sharing!
     
  3. I made a double batch of these,then made a simple sugar/cinnamon syrup and poured over the top of these apples and baked.These turned out quite tasty.
