This recipe hits the mark! I'm a huge mac and cheese fan! Then to add savory bacon brings it to a whole new level!
The items for this recipes are items that many have on hand without making a trip to the store. I used 10 slices of bacon and a can of rotel for color.
This recipe was very easy and the longest item was the cooking of the bacon and pasta. Once these are done, every thing else is a snap.
I let mine cook around 30 minutes.
It's so good that I fixed a small plate to eat a few minutes after coming out of the oven. I had to remind myself not to eat all of it (fix for lunch the next few days).

I've reviewed a lot of recipes here on Zaar (340 to be exact) and this one definitely goes into my Top 10! It has all the things I love; pasta, cheese and bacon. Simple ingredients = pure comfort food. I used a whole package of thick-sliced bacon (12 slices) and increased all the other ingredients to fit the recipe. Took it to share with some colleagues and they all said, "This is the best thing you've ever made for us!" I tend to agree. :) You've got a keeper here, Shape! Thanks for sharing. ***Made for Fall PAC 2011***

Even though I haven't been here for a long time, MY recipes aren't up for adoption. :) And don't change any of them either. ;)
