Fresh pineapple juice is rich in the protein digesting bromelain enzyme, peroxidase enzyme which is thought to be a major antitumor component, vitamin C and potassium. What more can you ask for from this easy to make and sweet and delish cleansing drink. Carrot tops are toxic.Use organic or well wash the ingredients.
- 1 apple, seeds removed quarered
- 3 carrots, greens removed
- 3 inches pineapple slices, with skin
- 1⁄4 inch fresh ginger
- Alernating ingredients push through the hopper of a juicer.
Great recipe but on Nutritional Facts, calories seem to be way off. I calculate about 150 calories just for the carrots and apple alone. Add pineapple (how many slices?) and it would be more.
Delicious, sweet and a perfect combo. Thanks for the recipe. It's a keeper.
An excellent mix which I will happily add to my list of juices. Sweet and with a nice kick from the ginger.
