ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 3 tablespoons baking powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 3⁄4 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- oil, I use peanut oil (for frying)
directions
- Combine dry ingred.
- Add milk.
- Mix well to form a dough.
- Pat out on a floured board to about 1/4 inch thick.
- Cut into 2x2 or 3x4 inch squares.
- Fry in hot oil, about 350°F.
- Brown lightly on both sides.
- Serve warm.
