  1. This dough turned out entirely too soft. I added a ton of flour and thought it would be OK, but it was a mess the next day. It probably would have worked if we were just cutting out shapes, but it would not hold a 3D form.

  2. This worked nicely for me. Our Bible class instructor wanted us to make a completely homeade present for a certain classmate. The dough was awfully sticky, but with mom's help I finally got it to work. I added green food colouring & made a Christmas tree out of it. Thanks for posting!

  3. Great activity! My kids loved this one. I wish I received Homebasics... Keep the tips coming! I did find the website though: http://www.homebasics.ca

Most of my recipes are dairy free since I discovered many years ago that I am lactose intolerant. While I have had to give up some much-loved recipes, we have discovered that most can be modified to accommodate the changes to our diet. Most of my recipes say dairy free but there are a few from my childhood that may have dairy! I also have an intolerance to MSG so we spend a lot of time reading labels. Usually, it is just easier to cook from scratch, so we don't use many pre-made foods from the grocery store.</p> I like recipes I can make with minimal ingredients, real food I have in my kitchen, that are also easy to make!
