- Melt butter in pan. Add flour and salt.
- Slowly add milk, stirring with a fork or whisk to keep mixture smooth.
- Heat until thickened.
- Stir in turkey, peas, and pimentos. Cook until thoroughly heated.
- Serve over puff pastry shells or toast.

This was just excellent. I wanted to add several ingredients to the mix but decided to make as is the first time. It had amazing flavor for so little ingredients. I did add a nice twist of fresh black pepper. I didn't use the full 8 ounces of frozen peas either since I didn't have that much. Probably 1/2 to 3/4 cups was all I used and that was plenty for us. Thanks for sharing one of your mom's recipes. I'll make this one again. :) Made for PRMR Holiday Special 09
