Tom's Coffee Cream Martini

"My husband's long time friend Tom loves to mix drinks, and he is pretty good at it too. Surprisingly, he is not a bartender. He knows I like coffee and came up with this drink for me last time we visited him. It was strong, but good. We used Starbucks brand for the coffee and cream liqueur but Zaar didn't recognize it. You can use Kahlua for the coffee liqueur. However, the Starbucks CREAM Liqueur tastes a little different them Irish Cream but that is the closest thing that Zaar would recognize; it would still taste good (not exactly the same, but close and still good)."

 1. Starbucks has their Holiday sets out now, and found one with both the liqueurs, at a fairly reasonable price. They do think HIGHLY of their product. I'll have to use them sparingly. Anyway, this is a very tasty drink. I'm not a fan of Bailey's and this a very nice alternative. I think this is going to become my favorite, don't let the holidays stress you out, drink. Thanks for sharing.

I like to experiment in the kitchen and am not afraid to modify a recipe based on what I have on hand or what I think might taste good. I enjoy cooking things that are simple, delicious and nutritious. I enjoy food and beverage pairing. It is interesting how certain foods and beverages together can enhance the food or alter the taste. When I'm not working I enjoy spending time with loved ones, reading, crafts and aromatherapy. I'm always looking for simple recipies to keep my loved ones happy and healthy.
