The Mama's Thanksgiving Maple Sweet Potatoes and Apples

"This recipe is DEMANDED when we have family dinners at my Mama's house. It's delicious! My sister and I actually got into an arguement over who got the leftovers. They're sweet but they do not have the goopy marshmallow junk on them. They're the only ones that I eat. It was created by my Mama (Sheryl) so all credit goes to her on this one. I usually double this recipe when I make it to feed a family of 4."

Founding member of 'Zaar from way back in 2005 when this site was in its heyday. I didn't really start trying to cook until I was in my 20's, but Recipe Zaar really helped build my love for food and showed me the beauty of culinary experimentation. I'm still here as of 2024 so I hope you enjoy the recipes that I've managed to compile over the last two decades. Thanks for stopping by!
