  • Boil sausage til cooked and drain, then remove the casings and slice into coins.
  • Spray a large pan with pam and add garlic and on medium heat cook for about two minutes, then add sausage.
  • Then add onions and green pepper, cook until meat is slightly browned, add red pepper, basil, wine and cheese.
  • Lower heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
  • Serve tossed with the pasta.

  1. We were split on this one. DH liked it and DD and I weren't crazy about it ~ was a little too spicy for our tastes and I even reduced the amount of crushed red pepper flakes. It is a very pretty dish and presents itself well. Not sure if I would make it again or not. Made for Fall PAC 2009.
