Strawberry Daiquiri Mix Smoothie (Non-Alcoholic)

"Super easy smoothies. Pina Colada mix would probably be really good, too. The bananas I used were a little on the green side and the kids said they were too banana-y. I'll try riper bananas or maybe 1/2 a banana next time."

  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 cup strawberry daiquiri mix (liquid, not powdered)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 banana, peeled and in 1-inch pieces

  • Place all ingredients in the blender and blend/pulse until smooth.

  1. I'd think that if you wanted less of a banana taste, you'd want to use a greener banana, since the ripe ones have the most flavor! Anyway, I did use a nicely yellowed one that was frozen, something I usually use in these kinds of drinks for their 'frost' factor! You have a very tasty smoothie here & a recipe that I'll definitely make again! Thanks for sharing it! [Made & reviewed for one of my adopted chefs in this Spring's Pick A Chef]
     
  2. This was great, I used vanilla yogurt and almond milk. I will definitely be making this again.
