  • In a bowl, combine the brown sugar, mustard, horseradish and 2 tablespoons cola; mix well. Rub over ham. Place in a 5-qt. Slow cooker; pour remaining cola over ham. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or until a meat thermometer reads 140°. Yield: 15-20 servings.

  1. This was an excellent recipe. Ham was very tender and tasty. I used some of the liquid with mustard and a bit of honey as a glaze, put the ham in the oven at 375 for about 15 minutes to glaze the ham! Also added some whole cloves while the ham cooked.

We have been without an oven for almost two years now. Due to cost at first, but then it became a great challenge to cook yummy meals without it.I have always enjoyed cooking, but over the last few years living in England and the ridiculously small kitchens it took a back seat. We do have a toaster oven, a pizza cooker, microwave, three skillets, an electric burner and a couple of crock pots. So most of the recipes will be crock pot ones and none use an oven or if they do just insert toaster oven lol. <br>I have started a OAM cooking day at our church and we are having a great time and Yummy meals!
