ingredients
- 8 ounces unsalted butter, room temperature
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
directions
- Cream butter 3-5 min until fluffy.
- add sugar and beat 2 min.
- add vanilla.
- add flour and salt and combine on low speed.
- chill 60 min.
- roll out to 1/4 " thickness and cut into stars.
- bake at 325 for 18-20 min.
- once cooled, sprinkle with powdered sugar.

I love trying all different types of cuisines. my favorites right now are indian, mexican, and japanese :) I'm currently a student so I try to find recipes that I can tweak in order to make smaller portions. I don't like eating the same thing more than once a week and I hate wasting food so this becomes a very creative process ( and not enough freezer space!)
