Shopska Salad

"This is very popular Bulgarian salad familiar to all foreigners visiting Bulgaria. It is easy to cook and very tasty. It is similar to the famous Greek salad."

• Serves: 4

ingredients

• 1 onion
• 2 bell peppers
• 1 big cucumber
• 4 tomatoes
• 200 g white cheese (like Feta cheese)
• 3 tablespoons sunflower oil
• 1 tablespoon vinegar
• salt
• parsley

directions

1. Peel the cucumber.
2. Chop all the vegetables and place them in a large bowl.
3. Mix the salad with oil, vinegar and salt.
4. Put the salad in plates and cover with grated cheese.
5. Decorate with parsley on the top.
