Salted Carmel Chicken Wings Sauce

- Add sugar, vanilla and water to a pot and boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until golden brown and has thickened (about 10 minutes).
- Add the soy sauce, lime juice, hoisin sauce, heavy cream and let it come up to a boil again and then reduce the heat to low and let simmer for another 10 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let the sauce cool.
- Pour over piping hot wings and toss and then sprinkle with kosher salt.
