Quickie Tuna Noodles

"Disclaimer - this is NOT gourmet! This is one of my "Emergency Quickies", when dinner needs to be done, and needs to be done NOW. I've made several variations of this, with either cheddar or parmesan cheese, and whatever "Cream of..." soup I had on hand. My kids prefer their veggies on the side, so we usually have peas or carrots as a side dish, but I'm sure they'd be great just thrown in the sauce, too. Send me a review with your modifications, I could always use new ideas for this one!"

  1. Awesome quicky meal! I only used one can of cream soup and added some dill and corn to it but otherwise made as written. I'll be making it a regular part of our in a hurry meals!

  2. This was a really quick and easy meal. I threw it together today for lunch for me and my kids and we thought it was pretty good. I used the cream of chicken but will use cream of mushroom next time. I also think that I'll be taking the advice of others and adding my veggies in with the sauce. Thanks for sharing.

  3. This was great because I had nothing left in the fridge and needed something quick to prepare - this fit the bill perfectly. Bonus: was surprised I loved the mix of tuna and soup!! ;) Didn't have any cream of chicken so used cream of tomato. Thanks Gartobek! :)

  4. This was a nice quick meal. Made last night to bring to work with me today for lunch. Had to substitute a can of cream of mushroom for a can of the cream of chicken, and added more cheese (you can't have too much cheese!). Also added some peas (personal preference). Thanks!

  5. Very nice quick meal. I used mushroom soup (because thats what I had) and added some frozen peas and some dried minced onion. I skipped adding any milk and just used the water in the tuna can which worked out just right. I not a fan of fish and cheese together so that was left off to. The result is very tasty and really hits the spot when cooking time is short. Thanks for posting. Made for Photo Tag

Tweaks

  1. This was good and easy to make. I followed the recipe as written other then I added more cheese- probably between and cup and two. This was a good quick weeknight meal. I did add a can of mixed carrots and peas as we like our veggies mixed in :) I also added some garlic powder. I think I would like this a bit better with cream of mushroom soup instead.
