  • Preheat your oven to 325 degrees. Prepare a large baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together honey, oil, brown sugar, vanilla extract, salt, and cinnamon.
  • Gently fold in the oats and the nuts. Spread the mixture onto the baking sheet. Bake for 45 minutes rotating the baking sheet half way though baking.
  • Remove the baking sheet from the oven. Allow to cool for an hour. Break apart the granola and mix in the dried fruit. Store in an airtight container for up to two weeks.

  1. I'm so sorry, Bonnie - but I followed the directions exactly and I burnt the heck out of it. I checked half way through and there was no color change, then when the time was up, it was very dark and the pecans were black. I can't believe I didn't smell it burning. I will try this again and check the time more frequently! I think the squirrels will think they're having a feast tomorrow!
