Salad
- 2 cups broccoli, cut into small pieces
- 1 cup green grape, halved
- 1⁄2 cup chopped green onion
- 1 cup slivered almonds
- 1 cup golden raisin
- 1⁄2 lb bacon

Dressing
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1⁄4 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
directions
- Mix together the broccoli, green grapes (halved), chopped green onions, slivered almonds, and golden raisins.
- Fry the bacon crisp and crumble over the salad.
- Mix the mayo, sugar, and vinegar to make the dressing.
- Pour dressing over salad and stir.
- Let set in fridge for 2 hours before serving.

This recipe is almost identical to a broccoli salad I recently fell in love with at a local resturaunt! I omitted the grapes and almonds, and used purple onion instead of green, to be like the one Im used to eating. Its delicious! I used about six strips of bacon, and increased the broccoli to three cups, because it looked like I had a lot of raisins and dressing for only two cups of broccoli, without the grapes and nuts. Next time, I'll make sure to try it exactly like the recipe to make it even livelier. I HIGHLY recommend this salad!!
