Onion Soup Potatoes

"This side dish is so simple and yummy. It’s a great idea for when you want something on a work night or for company. This was passed on to me but I believe it originated fro the Lipton's onion soup box. Enjoy!"

  • 6 red potatoes, washed and quartered
  • 1 (1 1/4 ounce) package dry onion soup mix
  • 14 cup butter (or margarine)
  • 14 teaspoon parsley
  • 12 cup water

directions

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • 2. Add potatoes, onion soup, butter and water and sprinkle with parsley to a casserole dish.
  • 3. Bake for 60 minutes or until potatoes are soft.

  • For a fast version, pop the dish in the microwave and cook for 20 minutes or until potatoes are soft.
