- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon cajun seasoning
- 1⁄2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 (4 ounce) fillets mahi mahi fillets, rinsed and patted dry
directions
- Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
- Stir the maple syrup, Cajun seasoning, and garlic powder together in a small bowl.
- Brush the maple syrup mixture over the mahi mahi fillets.
- Cook the mahi mahi in the hot oil until the fish flakes easily with a fork, 3 to 5 minutes per side.

A tasty and very quick and easy recipe that was done in no time. Used Creole seasoning (Tony Cachere's) in place of the Cajun seasoning and it tasted great. The only thing is that it came out a bit salty, maybe some seasonings have more salt than others, but I'd use a little less next time. Otherwise, it was packed with yumminess. Also used cod in place of Mahi Mahi due to what was available at the market. Thank you, Lavender Lynn, for sharing. Made it for FYC.
