- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1⁄2 cup sugar
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 2 1⁄4 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 3⁄4 cups M&M's
directions
- Beat butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
- Blend in eggs and vanilla.
- Stir in flour, salt and baking soda. Mix well.
- Stir in M&M's.
- Drop by rounded teaspoons onto cookie sheet.
- Bake at 350°F for 9 minutes or until just starting to get golden brown.

I haven't had M&M cookies in years but these brought back those familiar memories of soft luscious buttery cookies loaded with M&M's. It was interesting to see the cookies with aqua M&M's (my favorite is purple). I set the oven temperature for 375 degree F. and baked the cookies for about 8 minutes (soft not crunchy). Thanks for bringing back memories...... -
You've done it again Inez - another 5 star winner. A great, easy recipe, simple ingredients, and in no time cookies that everyone loved, even a person that doesn't like M&M's. They were gone in a flash by the "cookie monsters". Thanks for posting. -
My mom and my boyfriend loved these cookies. They were good but I think I was looking for a little something less brown sugar-y and buttery. I was thinking of a sugar-type lighter colored, moister cookie with m&m's. A good recipe but not what I was looking for. -

These turned out great! I used margarine instead of butter, but everything else the same. I had several small bags of M&Ms left from a fundraiser, so I made these for the baseball team!!! Thanks for a great recipe!

After DH and I moved away from the farm, and to the city...I haven't done as much cooking and very little canning. But I do come to Zaar and look for new recipes once in a while. I'm still cooking Zaar!!
I like to play at Facebook, with my family and friends. A lot of my Zaar friends are there!! Yay! It's a good way to keep in touch.
We travel more. We're looking at the European trips now. Hope to go in the springtime. I really want to see London, I think I lived there in a past life, I've been obsessed with it since I was 10 years old!!
