  • 2 tablespoons wheat germ (toasted and divided)
  • 4 kiwi fruits, peeled and quartered
  • 1 cup raspberries
  • 1 cup apple juice
  • 1 cup plain 2% yogurt (substitute vanilla yogurt)
  • 12 cup almond milk
  • 1 scoop protein powder (of your choice)
  • 2 tablespoons agave nectar (to taste)

  • In a small skillet over medium heat, toast wheat germ for about 2 ½ to 3 minutes. Remove from the heat to cool off.
  • In a jar of a blender, combine kiwifruits, raspberries, apple juice, yogurt, almond milk, protein powder, agave nectar and 1 ½ tablespoons toasted wheat germ; process until smooth.
  • Pour in glasses and sprinkle wheat germ on top. Makes 5 cups.
