  1. @Amanda in Aberdeen: Kiwi's and diary can start a chemical reaction to become something pretty bitter. I personally don't know how to avoid it, although the other reviewers apparently have.

  2. My husband and I made this when we were taking a dish over to some friends for a get together, and it was a big hit. If it's a little tart, that's just part of the charm. I liked it when it was almost frozen. The edges of the bowl were frozen and a little in the center wasn't quite solid, and I creamed it all with my spoon and it was the perfect texture.

  3. I REALLY wanted to love this recipe, we had 5 gorgeous ripe kiwi. My husband and I made it together, after we spooned the mixture into our dessert bowls and tasted what was left in the mixing bowl it seemed quite nice and lite, after it froze and we set it out and tasted it, honestly it was just dreadful. It was so sour and acidic, we even added a few extra teaspoosn of sugar into our bowls and it still didn't help. It sounds great and the ingredients are good but for some reason it just didn't turn out for us.I am hoping something in the ingredients was just off, I can't say that we are brave enough to try it again.

  4. Tebo this recipie is really great!!! Thank you so much! I've been looking for low-cal recipies and didn't find anything! This was g r e a t! I didn't even need to use the sugar since the kiwis where sweet enough. I added half a banana though (i just had it on hand). I also tried the recipie without the whipping cream, for less calories, and it turned out fantastic! THANKS!!!
