Jam Jams

"These are cookies my mother has been making since 1967 and have been a family staple for as long as I can remember. They work with anything as a filling including Nutella or sweentened peanut butter filling, but generally a good jam is the most common thing."

  • Preheat oven to 350°F Cream first five ingredients together, then add remaining three. Hand roll into 1 inch balls and place on greased baking sheet, keep 1/4 of dough to the side. Using your thumb or spoon make a depression in the balls then spoon in just enough jam to fill. Use remaining dough to make small tops to place over the jam. Bake 10 to 12 minutes until edges are golden brown.
