  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 34 cup raspberries
  • 1 cup orange juice (or pink grapefruit juice if you want it to be a little more tart hehe)

  • Combine the fruit and juice in a blender, and serve!

  1. Tasty stuff! A thinner smoothie than I generally have seen. I did feel bloated a bit after though reasoning because it is not properly food combined as per http://www.momssoapbox.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/food_combining.jpg. I used pasteurized orange juice which I feel made me mucusy (Sorry I just think this might be useful and new information to some) It also may have been due to the chill of the drink as well. I used frozen raspberries an unfrozen banana and sweetened with honey rather than sugar to be healthier. The taste is good but I don't expect to make this again unless I use freshly squeezed orange juice and even then I don't think so.
     
  2. Mmmm....this was delic! My 15 month old loved it. We often make her smoothies and this was a bit more exciting than some of the boring combos I come up with. I used Oj.

Since April 2008, I have been a vegetarian. I dont eat creatures...that's the easiest way to put it! :D I still eat a small amount of dairy, but not very much. I have been missing around here for a while, and hope to poke my head in a bit more often from now on... I hope you enjoy my recipes...
