- 3 cups yukon gold potatoes, chopped
- 1⁄2 cup yellow onion, diced
- 1 cup carrot, chopped
- 1 cup celery, chopped
- 4 slices raw bacon, chopped
- 1⁄4 cup butter
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1⁄4 cup dry white wine, Chardonnay
- 3 cups baked chicken breasts, cut to bite size preference
- 8 cups chicken broth
- 2 teaspoons poultry seasoning
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 parmesan rind
- 1⁄2 cup heavy whipping cream
- 16 ounces egg noodles, frozen
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- salt
- pepper
directions
- Heat pan over medium high heat. Melt butter, then add bacon & cook for 1 minute. Saute onion, potato, carrots, celery, and garlic for 5 minutes.
- Add wine. Stir to mix then add chicken. Then add remaining ingredients.
- Bring to boil for 5 minutes.
- Reduce to simmer and cook for 30-45 minutes.
- Remove bay leave & rind, then serve.
