  • Cook beef in skillet until well browned,stirring to break up meat.
  • Pour off fat.
  • Stir in soup,salsa,water and tortillas.
  • Heat to a boil.
  • Reduce heat to low and cook for 5 minute.
  • Stir and top with cheese.
  • Also try:.
  • Creamy Mexican Fiesta: Stir in 1/2 cup sour cream with soup.
  • Ranchero Style:Use corn tortillas instead of flour tortillas and shredded mexican cheese blend instead of cheddar.

  1. My family was very pleased! It was a nice change to the common taco. I did use a taco packet, just to give it that extra taco flavor. Skillet was empty! No complaints here!
     
  2. My family always enjoys this recipe. I also add a packet of taco seasoning for extra flavor and I stir in a can of corn (drained) and a can of black beans (rinsed and drained) to bulk up the recipe. I don't think I have had leftovers yet!
