  • 6 pork chops (1" thick)
  • 1 (12 ounce) bottle 7-Up soda
  • 1 package onion soup mix

directions

  • Put chops in shallow pan.
  • Pour 7-up over chops and sprinkle with onion soup mix.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.

  1. Sorry, I didn't like this. I thought maybe the 7up did something special so tried it. It was way to oniony. As for prep, it was the easiest thing to put together. The pork was not dried out either which is something I tend to have a problem with. I just didn't like the flavor.
     
  2. My husband and I LOVED this--I didnt tell him what I'd used--just that we were having pork chops. There were no leftovers!! eASY to fix.

Tweaks

  1. I have made the recipe with the onion soup mix in the past and loved it , However I was in need of lowering the sodium content of this recipe, What I did to tweak it was substitute onion soup mix with low sodium taco seasoning , and it turned out really good. To be honest I do not know how much it actually lowered the sodium in the recipe but as stated in did turn out good
