ingredients
- 2 lbs of fresh beef (your choice,I like sirloin)
- 1 medium yellow onion, diced
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 (8 ounce) package of fresh sliced mushrooms
- 2 (10 3/4 ounce) cans cream of mushroom soup
- 1 (8 ounce) package sour cream
- 1⁄4 cup Worcestershire sauce
- salt
- pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
directions
- In a large soup pot, combine cubed beef, sliced onion, minced garlic, and sliced mushrooms in 2 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil.
- Cook until beef is slightly pink, cover and cook till done. This allows the onions to sweat and the mushrooms to get softer from the steam.
- Add soup and Worcestershire sauce. Stir thoroughly.
- Remove from heat, stir in sour cream. Make sure mix is not bubbling as it will curdle the sour cream.
- Add salt and pepper to taste. If desired, more sour cream and Worcestershire sauce can be added.
- Serve over egg noodles or rice.
- Enjoy!

I'm a twentysomething that has been cooking anything and everything, since I was in elementary school. I was blessed with parents who cook, believe in the family table, and can't wait to do the same for my family.
I am currently self-employed and plan on going back to school in the fall. Even with all that going on, I find time to cook because it beats the heck out of campus food!
I'm passionate about education, animals, and cooking. I believe all three can be combined, but so far, the only results I have witnessed is a begging dog at the table. Haha!
My favorite part about cooking is the satisfaction of meeting one of life's most basic needs. Not only meeting that need, but satisfying the soul! And I REALLY love the fact that if I cook, my sweet man cleans!
