  • heat oil in a stock pot.
  • tear kale leaves and add to the pot.
  • saute until kale becomes soft (about 8 min).
  • stir in remaining ingredients.

  1. This was very bitter. I was expecting the balsamic vinegar to caramelize and sweeten with the raisins, but since it was put in at the end of the dish, it didn't. Next time, I would saute the kale, remove it, add the lemon juice and vinegar and let them heat through, then re-add the kale.
     
  2. Maybe it is just me but the flavors never came together the way I would have expected, The Kale is a very powerful veggie!
