Holiday Party Mix
"A version of caramel corn, but using chex mix. Very easy and fast to make using the microwave."

ingredients
- 236.59 ml butter
- 473.18 ml brown sugar
- 0.25 ml salt
- 118.29 ml Karo syrup
- 4.92 ml baking soda
- 481.94 g Corn Chex or 481.94 g Rice Chex
- 236.59 ml dry roasted peanuts
- 226.79-453.59 g M&M'
directions
- In saucepan,combine butter,brown sugar,salt and karo syrup. Boil for 1 1/2 minutes. Take off heat and add baking soda. Place chex mix and peanuts in a large paper bag. Add heated mixture. Microwave for 1 1/2 minutes, 3 times.( Shake bag between each cooking time.) Pour out on wax paper to cool. Separate pieces as it is cooling, and add M&M's.
