  1. My nephew and I made these the other day. We each made 2 trays of treats = 53 cookies. His enthusiasm created 3-4" treats while the ones I scooped were about 2 1/2". I heard 2 were eaten raw...LOL. I might like to cut back on the sugar. Definite buttery flavor and no need, as mentioned in the recipe to butter trays.

  2. I make this recipe all the time. All though I use 1/2 c. Of each sugar. They turn out into more of a soft cakey cookie. Its just what we like more :) and I double it so 1c of each sugar all together....the kids all ways eat the first pan as their cooling!

  3. followed recipe but didn't add the nuts but i did add white chocolate chips with the dark chocolate chips and the cookies turned out awesome.

  4. Chocolate chip cookies are one of my family?s favorite cookies. I have made this recipe many times using either Hershey?s dark chocolate chips or the semi-sweet chocolate chips. Both are delicious! ?

  5. Just had these at a friends house and loved them!!! Nice and soft. I was on the hershey's website, and found you can sub. 1 cup of toffee bits for 1 cup of chocolate chips. Can't wait to try it!!!

  1. Made these exactly as written but with crisco instead of butter (that is the texture our family prefers). Absolutely perfect chocolate chip cookies every time! The hit of the cookie tray! Thanks for posting!
