  1. A perfect way of making very delicious tuna steak with minimum of complication. Wasabi powder is so good on tuna!

  2. Delicious!

  3. Yummy!! I like tunas very much. And I added more garlic powder because I liked garlic very much. The crust is fragrant; and the center of the tuna with moisture. Because I had not had Lemon Basil Pesto, the lemon juice was sprinkled. This recipe is so incredibly delicious! I will frequently make these. Thank you for sharing the recipe.

  4. I make this on a very regular basis. I have found that it really needs very little tweaking. I usually cook it for just a touch longer than the recipe calls for to it will cut easier, but it always turns out fantastic!

  5. I love tuna and honestly haven't used wasabi a lot. I eat it a lot but don't cook with much. Not sure why. I needed more pepper and definitely didn't like garlic powder. Fresh to me is the only way, or even a jar minced if I am out. NO sauce needed, tuna is good on it's own and I used a Basmati rice with an Asian flair since I don't like saffron with wasabi, conflict of flavors for me. I did like the wasabi crust, nice spicy flavor with tuna. Medium rare and it was yummy. Cast iron and just the olive oil to sear. No butter for me. 2 minutes per side for 2" steaks and perfect.
