  1. I used a beautiful ripe pineapple and young coconut juice. Delish!

  2. First I bought what I thought was coconut milk only to find out that it was the creme of the coconut, so by the time I found the milk, my ginger went bad. So I wound up using fresh pineapple, gala apple, fresh pineapple and ground ginger. I used a blender to mix it all up and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by the ginger flavor to this rendition of a favorite pina colada beverage. Very yummy. Made for Veg 'N Swap tag #36.

  3. yum yum yum! I used canned pineapple, but it turned out good :) Definitely is something I will be using as a base recipe though... I've got raspberries and such that I think might go really well in there.

  4. There are times when I just can't find a really good whole pineapple, so went to my canned goods instead! I did put the pineapple chunks in the freezer until almost frozen & all the other ingredients were chilled in the frig before using! Absolutely loved this combo of flavors! A definite keeper! 5. I used canned pineapple because that's what I had. Loved the ginger in this. Might try blending with ice next time as this was very rich. Thanks for sharing. Made for ZWT3
