Fantastic recipe! I've tried several different whole wheat recipes, and this one takes the cake. I didn't have any vital wheat gluten or bread flour (something I usually keep on hand), so I just used all-purpose flour. I LOVE the sunflower seeds - it gives the bread a great texture. This bread will definitely become a staple at my house! Thanks for submitting it!

This made a very big loaf- so big that it almost overflowed before pulling back in on itself. I was worried that it was going to push open the breadmaker but it all stayed inside. I used one packet of yeast ( 2 1/4 tsp) and omitted the sunflower seeds (because I forgot). I don't know if it would have worked in my Sunbeam with the full measures of these two ingredients. Anyway, I did like the bread!
