ingredients
- 2 1⁄2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 (14 ounce) can condensed milk
- 1⁄8 teaspoon salt
directions
- Melt chocolate chips.
- Remove from heat, stir in condensed milk and salt.
- Stir to blend well.
- Spread into buttered 9" pan.

This is mind-blowing fudge! Most fudge is just too sugary for me, but this is dense, rich, ultra-chocolatey and just the right amount of sweetness. Almost reminds me of a truffle. I made a double batch for a 9x9 pan because I wanted it taller, and cut it into very small squares; I also keep it in the fridge because I think the texture and taste is best cold. This is a definite keeper.

I assumed the "condensed milk" is what we call "sweetened condensed milk" in the states, so I went for it - and am I glad! This has now replaced any/all my former fudge recipes - this is the BEST and so simple. No need to even bother with the microwave - so easy to just melt on the stove over low heat. I did add a teaspoon of vanilla. YUM
