  • Steam the broccoli until tender.
  • Pound or blend together the garlic, ginger and coriander (stems only - reserve the leaves).
  • Heat the oil into the pan and add the paste sizzle for 1 minute.
  • Add the broccoli; toss to coat and sprinkle over the sesame seeds.
  • Stir in the basil and coriander leaves and serve.

  1. WOW! Simple and oh so yummy! Thanks for sharing your family recipe! I may try toasting the (black) sesame seeds next time to bring out their flavor. I love the added corinader/ cilantro leaves and basil leaves at the end.

  3. We enjoyed this Cherry Blossom, not sure what a bunch of fresh coriander is but I used about 1/4 cup for this, also I increased the sesame seeds thanks for sharing...Kitten:)

How I rate... 5 stars - perfect, will make again without any changes. 4 stars - Liked it, will make again again but with changes. 3 stars - had to make major changes but got it to work. 2 stars - had to make major changes and it didn't work. 1 star - went terribly, a waste of time and ingredients, I cried, BF cried the cats cried you get the picture...
