Sweet and Sour Cabbage Stew

ingredients
- 3 lbs cabbage, grated
- 1 3⁄4 cups brown sugar
- 1 cup vinegar
- 5 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 lb frozen carrots, sliced
- 1 medium potato, cubed
- 5 cups onions, chopped
- 13 garlic cloves, minced
- 15 cups hot water
- 15 teaspoons bouillon, paste
- 4 teaspoons thyme
- 1 1⁄4 teaspoons white pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt

Place all ingredients in a large covered pot,and bring to to a simmer for 30 minutes,taste, then slowly mix in a mixture of:
- 6 tablespoons flour.
- 6 tablespoons margarine.
- 1 1/2 cups of stew.
- SERVE WITH BREAD.
