  • Preheat the broiler to high. Mix together 1 tbsp harissa with 1 tbsp clear honey. Lightly slash 6 skinless free-range chicken thighs and brush all over with the marinade.
  • Set aside for 10 minutes, then place the thighs on a lightly oiled baking sheet and pop under the broiler for 16 minutes, turning halfway, until sticky and cooked through.

  1. This could not have been simpler to prepare or tastier. The chicken is sweet with a spicy harissa kick-- but not too spicy thanks to the honey. I made this tonight after coming home late from work, and it was on the table in a half hour. I served it with whole wheat couscous and broccoli, which complemented the chicken well. The only reason I do not give this 5 stars is because it was not spicy enough for my taste, but I will definitely make this again.
